Isabelle was born in Plympton and grew up in Plymouth before moving to Cornwall aged 14. Her career since leaving college has been within hospitality and retail in customer facing roles including a season working on the Isles of Scilly at the exclusive Star Castle Hotel. Outside of work Isabelle enjoys swimming, paddle-boarding and walking.

She joined Penderlaw in May 2022 initially working on Reception before moving to our Disputes department where she now works as a Paralegal.

In 2025 Isabelle became our first solicitor apprentice which is a is a degree apprenticeship (Level 7) that provides a mix of on-the-job learning and formal study.

In November 2025 she was shortlisted for Trainee Lawyer of the Year by the Junior Lawyers Division of the Cornwall Law Society.
