Tom studied at the University of Exeter and achieved a 2:1 in his undergraduate degree in Law before a Masters in International Law, Conflict and Security with Distinction. Tom continued to attain a Distinction in his Legal Practice Course from the Univeristy of Law in Nottingham.

Tom qualified at a regional firm in Gloucestershire before relocating to Cornwall in 2024. Tom gained experience in a range of family and civil cases at a long-established regional firm in North Cornwall before joining Penderlaw in October 2026.

Having relocated from upcountry, Tom enjoys exploring Cornwall in his spare time. If he’s not on the coast path, you will probably find Tom on the football pitch.
