Our team did so well on Saturday 9th May completing the aptly named ‘Pretty Muddy Challenge’ to raise over £300 for Cancer Research UK. It was a fantastic almost mini family festival atmosphere at Stithians showground, with music and street food, and even the odd samba band along the course to encourage everyone to make it through!

The teams had to run or walk the 5k and then clamber over or under about 15 obstacles ranging from scramble nets, and tunnels, to slides and space hoppers (some of us managed those better than others, turns out it’s much harder than you remember!). There were also volunteers at each obstacle, some of them having a lovely time shooting the runners with water pistols!
